Is it really free?

Yes. The free plan includes daily speaking practice, 3 conversations per day, the full review system, and progress tracking. Forever, no credit card. Premium is optional and only unlocks unlimited use and extras.

How is it different from other language apps?

Most apps focus on reading and recognition — tapping the right answer. Polyvoca focuses on production: actually saying things out loud, getting corrected, having real conversations. The difference shows up the first time you need to speak in real life.

How long until I can hold a conversation?

Most users report holding their first real conversation within 4-6 weeks of daily 5-minute practice. Speed depends on your starting level, the language pair, and consistency. We won't promise miracles — we will give you the feedback to actually improve.

Which languages can I learn?

At launch: Spanish, French, English, Portuguese, German, Italian, and Japanese. More coming. The interface itself is in 5 languages so you can learn from your native tongue.

Can I cancel Premium anytime?

Yes. One tap, no questions, no retention emails. If you cancel within 14 days, full refund. After that, you keep Premium until your billing period ends, then you're back on Free.

Do I need an internet connection?

For conversations and pronunciation scoring, yes — those need our AI. Daily review and progress tracking work offline so you can practice on the subway, on a plane, anywhere.

Will it work with my accent?

The pronunciation feedback is calibrated to recognize a wide range of accents while still flagging real mistakes. The goal isn't to make you sound American or Parisian — it's to make you understandable to native speakers.

Is my voice data safe?

Voice recordings are processed in real time and not stored after the session unless you explicitly opt in for review purposes. We never sell data. Full details in our Privacy Policy.
