Terms of Service
These Terms of Service apply to the Polyvoca mobile application and related services.
1. Acceptance
By using the app, you agree to these Terms. Minimum age is 13 globally, and 16 in the EU.
2. Description of service
Polyvoca is a language learning app providing AI conversation practice, pronunciation feedback, and spaced repetition review.
3. Account
Registration is optional for the free tier and required for Premium. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity under your account.
4. Subscriptions & billing
“Polyvoca Premium is offered as an auto-renewable subscription. Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. No refund will be provided for the unused portion of a subscription term, except as required by applicable law.”

- Annual: 59.99€/year (4.99€/month equivalent)
5. Free trial
If a free trial is offered in the future, it will be stated clearly at the point of purchase.
6. Cancellation
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions
- Android: Play Store → Subscriptions
7. Refunds
EU users: you may have a 14-day cooling-off period for digital services not yet used. After first use, the right of withdrawal is waived per EU Directive 2011/83/EU. Refund requests: hello@polyvoca.com.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law
- abuse the AI systems (e.g. prompt injection attempts, automated scraping, denial-of-service)
- impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
9. Intellectual property
The app and its content are owned by Polyvoca and its licensors. You retain ownership of your voice recordings.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee language learning outcomes.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polyvoca will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
12. Governing law
French law applies. Disputes: Paris courts, or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
13. Changes to terms
We will provide 30 days notice for material changes via email or in-app notification.
